Shipping Information

We have made shipping easy for you while making sure you get the best possible price. Big Fitness ships via the US Post Office (First Class and Priority Mail), UPS, FedEx and Common Carrier curbside delivery. Choice of carrier will be made based on the size and weight of your order.

Address must be accessible to semi-trailer truck for non-UPS size shipments.
If you require expedited shipping (Next Day Air or Second Day Air), please call to place your order.

We cannot ship to P.O. boxes or military addresses (APO / FPO). A large number of the products we sell cannot be shipped via the US Post Office.

About Common Carrier Delivery:

Most items weighing over 150 LBS ship via common carrier truck.  If your order includes items that are to be shipped via common carrier, the delivery company will contact you to set up a delivery date.  Residential customers must be home to sign for truck shipments. If you are unable to be home the day of delivery, then pick-up at the carrier's local terminal may be necessary. Appointment deliveries or time window deliveries may not be available.

Big Fitness will not accept returns or cancellations due to delays in delivery by common carrier delivery companies. Although we use the largest and most well-known carriers, we are not responsible for delays in transit, freight company employee conduct, missed delivery appointments or damages to the customer's premises. Cancellations after shipment are not accepted.

Please be sure to note any damage or shortage on the delivery receipt before signing for a shipment. Title of goods passes to the purchaser when a shipment is accepted for transportation by the carrier. When you sign for a shipment, you are indicating that all cartons shown on the receipt are present and in good condition. If this is not true, be sure to note the discrepancy and have the driver initial it. For items shipped already assembled, open all cartons immediately while the driver is present. Do not discard the cartons until you know the contents are in good condition. Please contact us immediately if the item is an assembled piece or if the damage involves a part that can't be replaced.

For large pieces, we recommend purchasing lift gate service. This will send a truck with a hydraulic lift gate that will lower your shipment from the truck bed to the curb. Please call for more information and pricing.

Common Carrier Delivery Options:
Standard Common Carrier Delivery is our standard large-item shipping method.  If "SHIPPING INCLUDED" is indicated in the item description, there is no additional charge for this shipping method. 
Threshold Delivery Service and Deluxe 2-Person Inside Delivery Service are not available on all items.  See item descriptions for availability and pricing.  Shipping charges are not refundable.

Standard Common Carrier Delivery
The delivery truck will stop at the curb. You must unload the equipment from the truck and move it into your home or business.  The delivery company will contact you to set up a delivery date.  Residential customers must be home to sign for the shipment.  If you are unable to be home the day of delivery, then pick-up at the carrier's local terminal may be necessary. Appointment deliveries or time window deliveries may not be available.

Lift Gate Service
The delivery truck will come equipped with a hydraluic lift gate that will lower your shipment to the ground.  Otherwise same as Standard Common Carrier Delivery.  You must move your equipment into your home or business.

Threshold Delivery Service (Residential Only)
Service to residential driveway, garage, inside front porch or door using a lift-gate equipped truck, pallet jack or hand truck.  Does NOT include inside delivery to the room of your choice.
Services by appointment arranged by delivery agent and ultimate consignee, available between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM Saturday.

Deluxe 2-Person Inside Delivery Service (Residential Only)
Delivery service to room of choice, including de-skidding (removal of pallet), equipment placement and debris removal.  Does NOT include equipment setup.
Additional charges will be incurred for deliveries:
- Up or down more than two flights of stairs
- Requiring more than 30 minutes onsite delivery time
- Requiring additional product handlers for safety or to prevent potential product damage

Pricing Errors

Big Fitness is not liable for pricing errors.
If you place an order for a product that was incorrectly priced, we will put your order on hold and contact you to obtain authorization for additional charges. At that time you will have the option to cancel your order. In the event that we inadvertently ship an order based on a pricing error, we will issue a revised invoice to you for the correct price and contact you to obtain your authorization for the additional charge, or assist you with return of the product.

Order Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled without penalty up until they are packaged for shipment. Please call 401-885-5200 and speak with either our sales or customer service department to cancel your order. Voice mail and e-mail messages may not be received in time.

Your order is complete once it has shipped, and will be subject to our 31 Day Return Policy . If your order is refused or undeliverable, the cost of shipping both ways will be subtracted from your refund. A 25% restocking fee may also apply.
