Can the Powertec Compact Leg Sled machine be used in a commercial environment. E.G, a personal training studio?

Big Fitness
The Powertec Compact Leg Sled machine is built for heavy duty home use, however it has been placed in training studios before with great success. It is not a warrantied use however.

Finally got some olympic weights for this thing. I set it up by myself so it took a hot minute & the foot stand is a bit wobbly but Im using it just the same. Just started really using it on a regular basis so I hope to see visible results soon. All in all, Im glad I bought it and from what I can tell so far, its worth it (although I got mine on sale for $100 bucks off.)

Had this for my home gym for 4 years. I think it was a great machine that delivers exaclty as advertised. You`ll need to invest in some 100lb plates to hit the 1000lb capacity. The leverage is such, that 7.5 plates(45lbs)/side on a standard Hammer Strength leg press will translate to about 5 plates a side for this machine. For quads, the foot positioning allows everything from deep frog presses to close foot positioning for quad isolation. Saftey is excellent, as the seat will not crash down into the footplate when you hit failure. One standout feature is the calf block which allows donkey calf raises, great for the gatrocs. The one drawback, is that to get the maximum stretch on the donkey calf raises, you need to be wearing flat shoes like wrestling shoes, otomix, or nike free`s. If you wear standard running shoes, your heels will hit the footplate at the bottom which you can see on their video.

Good machine for the most part. Smooth motion. Steady pressure. Very adjustable. Good positioning for the excersizes. Does squats with controlled weight, eliminating risk of loosing balance, and reducing pressure on the back. Took a long time to assemble with some trial and error. Assembly instructions were unclear at points. My particular unit had a bolt hole that was not drilled to the proper diameter. Once effectively assembled, it has proven a good machine.
